Started in 1998, it operates multiple retail fashion chains with brick and mortar stores in various locations of India. Very human intensive, manual and non standard processes
The Customer has been growing aggressively in India with 180+ stores and they have a target of growing to 500+ Stores by 2022. With this in mind, they were looking for a strong logistics technology platform that can help them efficiently manage distribution across Collection Centres (CC’s), Distribution Centres (DC’s) & Stores.
This involves managing inventory across stores, managing dispatches, transporters, staff engaged in logistics operations, load optimisation, route optimisation and SLA management. Their major pain point was about tracing the packages / cartons & collaborating efficiently with transporters on load distribution and invoice reconciliation, non standard and varied processes with logistics vendors leading to inefficient and complicated processes, in efficient communication resulting in losses of large number of productive hours, too much human intensive and error prone.

The CargoFL Team worked closely with the customer’s team to bring in more visibility into their Shipment Tracking, Package Tracking, Transporter performance and engagement. Also SLA’s were put in place across Operations & Invoicing processes to check if all the required metrics were met and deviations if any reported timely to middle & senior management. This process involved setting up CargoFL Connected Logistics platform to record operations, clubbing of bookings by vehicle, by store, collection centres, distribution centres & location.
